Translation:
Matilda, queen,
to Ansfrid the steward, greeting.
I order you to see to it that the ship of the abbot of St. Augustine
and
all his goods that were taken are justly restored and all those men who
took it shall give pledges that they stand trial before the king when
he
wants them. And I command that all his goods shall be in peace, as they
were on the day when the king crossed the sea until he comes back to
England.
